Meditation Workshops:
An Introduction to Centering and Grounding

Join us for a free one-hour meditation workshop, where you will have an introduction to how to practice two simple, but potent tools: centering and grounding.

Centering is being fully present within yourself. This may sound simple, and yet so many of us can feel disconnected from ourselves, caught in patterns of distraction, striving, rumination, or overwhelm, to name a few. The practice of centering offers us a way to come home to the steadiness and ease that already exists within us.

Grounding provides a practice of connectivity, allowing us to recognize our connection with the planet and the world around us. When we are centered and grounded, we are resourced to meet life in a way that is more easeful, healthy and sustainable. Growing this inner anchoring supports us in meeting the world around us with more openness, compassion and curiosity. This is definitely something the world needs more of!

These sessions give you a chance to experience this practice firsthand. No previous experience is necessary. We hope that you can take away an introduction to these practices that you can apply in your own life.

This workshop includes teaching, closed-eye practice, the opportunity for some questions and feedback and some shared reflection. If you are interested in learning more about the meditation classes (Class I: Spiritual Tools) that we offer, you can stay on after the workshop for more information.

We treat our Zoom sessions like in-person workshops, requiring participants to keep their video on for full engagement in the session, in addition to attending from a private indoor location to respect participant privacy.

These sessions are held approximately once or twice a month on Tuesday or Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, except during the month of July.
