INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS:
Meditation, Energy Awareness
& Spiritual Practice

In these free 1-hour sessions we offer a basic introduction to the practice of Centering and Grounding. When we’re centered and grounded we are present and connected, and are resourced to meet life in a way that is more easeful, healthy and sustainable. Instead of looking outside of us for what needs to change, we can learn to grow our own inner steadiness regardless of what we meet.

These sessions are meant as an introduction to the foundational tools in this spiritual practice and will include some teaching, some closed eye practice, as well as some discussion and feedback with the teacher. These sessions give you a chance to experience this practice first hand.

We ask participants to keep their video on for full engagement in the session.

No previous experience is necessary. Each session is independent and you can attend as many as you like. For a deeper dive into these tools, we recommend taking Class I.

These sessions are held roughly twice a month on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, except during the summer.

Dates: Thursday, May 2, 7 - 8 pm
Sunday, May 26, 10 - 11 am
Thursday, June 13, 7 - 8 pm

workshops

Centering and Grounding are simple and potent spiritual tools that are a sturdy foundation for a personal meditation practice and a way to practice being present and awake within our lives. When we lose touch with who we are at our core, we can lose clarity in our lives - we can experience internal conflict, which we might experience as stress, cycling thoughts, anxiety and reactivity. Centering and Grounding give us a way to practice being awake as who we are essentially, where we have access to the inner clarity that is our natural state, even in times of difficulty. When we are centered and grounded, we can be present and resourced to bring all of ourselves to our lives.

These experiential workshops, like all of our classes, include time for teaching and practice, as well as time for feedback, reflection and questions. Students will learn to work with centering and grounding in closed-eye meditations to allow for first-hand experience and practice with these energetic states of being. You will also have some open eye practice to give the opportunity to practice how you can apply these tools in your life.

If you have attended one of our Introductory Sessions, these will give you a deeper dive into the practice of these tools and will set you up with the basics from which you can grow a simple meditation practice.

No previous experience is necessary. Pre-registration is required – contact info is below.
These workshops are not required to take Class I.
