In total, they donated $1600 towards the community dinners and volunteered in preparing and serving them. First United is a place of hospitality and hope for people in the downtown Eastside. Also this fall, we purchased and donated socks, underwear and rain ponchos for the clients of First United, and held a coat drive and donated warm coats to the Mosaic Surrey Project for Refugees and to First United.
